CTE Culinary Hospitality and Tourism Commission

The CTE Culinary, Hospitality and Tourism Commission supports a portfolio with over 20 programs in 18 schools serving over 3,200 students. The Commission is chaired by Karen Bornarth, Executive Director of The Bread Bakers Guild of America. The CTE Culinary, Hospitality and Tourism Commission pipelines students into one of NYC's largest industry sectors. This sector encompasses restaurants and other food services, lodging, attractions, recreation events, and travel-related services.
