Healthcare Commission Special Event: 14th Annual Radiology: Giving Back to New York City Program at MSKCC

The annual Radiology: Giving Back to New York City program is a unique opportunity for 11th graders and their teachers to participate in a professional healthcare education event held at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). The overall goal of the program is to inspire and educate students and teachers in available careers in healthcare with a focus on radiology, the role of imaging in cancer, patient care, and biomedical research. Students and teachers are provided with information about careers in radiology, medicine, nursing, hospital administration, technology, and more.  Participating students research and write an essay.  The top five essays will be awarded with cash prizes.and an opportunity to participate in one of five (5) paid summer internships – which will be funded through the National Institutes of Health grant 5U54CA132378.
