2017 Annual Citywide Graphic Arts Competition
Open to all high school students, the competition has seven categories including Photoshop, granting students the opportunity to showcase their talents and the depth of their schools' graphic education programs. For industry partners, the event provides an up-to-date review of program effectiveness and relevance of the participating schools. The theme selected to represent the competition this year is "identity". Competition finalists will work to create their own piece, in four hours provided for them on site, to later be judged. Judges include industry experts and college participates. Awards will be given to first, second, and third place winners in each of the seven categories. If you would like to help with sponsoring this event, please contact the Media Technology and Design Commission Co-Chair, Annette Wolf Benson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
