CTE Schools and Programs

New York City has more than 400 high schools across all five boroughs. Of those 400, 51 are CTE-designated High Schools and another 88 high schools offer CTE programs of study as part of their schools’ offering. Students who enroll in a CTE program of study will take a minimum of 7 credits in technical courses. Students who successfully complete a State-approved CTE program of study can receive a CTE endorsed Regents diploma. New York City offers programs in 16 areas of study:

  • Hospitality and Tourism
